I bow to consciousness

The invocation from the 'pearls of Peace' by the 5th Guru, Guru Arjan Dev:
I bow to the guiding consciousness that takes us to realisation.
I bow to wisdom througout the ages.
I bow to True wisdom.
I bow to the great unseen Wisdom.

Vahiguru is an expression of enlightenment. It cannot be translated. Generally Vahi means wow, wonderous, awesome, magnificant, - Guru- light, wholeness, oneness, wisdom, consciousness, enlightener.
